In this life skills-based workshop for children ages 9 – 14, participants will get to craft their own woodworking projects by hand! Their imaginations will run free as they construct abstract and practical masterpiece, they are sure to feel proud of. After the wood working experience, we will embark on an explorative hike to the Bird Sanctuary, where participants will have the opportunity to see a wide array of species and learn about birds that are native to Planting Fields. Safety skills will be learned and youth-appropriate tools will be used. This is a drop-off program. Guardians are encouraged to stay on-site during the duration of the program and explore the beautiful grounds! If your child requires accommodations, if you have any questions or are interested in group rates, please contact erenwick@plantingfields.org This is a non-refundable program. 48 Hour Cancellation Policy: Should you need to cancel; you will be credited the amount towards a future education workshop.
