Posted: 03/10/2024

Duties and Responsibilities
The Special Project Intern will work directly with the Executive Director and/or the Director of Development on a project of the intern’s choosing – the full scope of which will be determined in conjunction with the staff and given final approval by the Board of Directors. We are open to working with a wide array of aspiring professionals – currently pursuing their undergraduate or graduate degree – and offering them the unique opportunity to gain real-world experience on a project of their choosing.

Interns will gain hands-on experience in project management – working alongside staff to define the scope of work, budget time and resources, receive approvals, line up capital, and oversee project execution.

All candidates must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, possess strong communication skills and be able to multi-task.

Schedule Duration
The schedule is flexible but candidates must be able to commit to at least ten hours per week.

Compensation
$1,800, based on a 12-week duration with a commitment of 10 hours per week. Degree credit can be arranged.
